costing24 now supports the calculation of CO2 emissions in the production of individual parts. The results page has been adapted accordingly, a new chart representation has been added. A detailed product carbon footprint report can be displayed and exported to XLSX. In the settings, global PCF factors, power stages at individual machines and explicit CO2 emissions for semi-finished products, materials and material groups can be specified.

If calculations are still performed with version 1 or 2 of the technology database, a note on upgrading to version 3 is displayed on the results page. Only from version 3 a second calculation variant as well as the calculation of CO2 emissions is supported. [de]

Now, all users may define, export and import material definitions in the settings.

A specific material may be selected now during the definition of a custom semi-finished product or blank.

Possible cutting parameters can now be defined for material groups and materials.

The setup time and additional time in the machine settings are split into several factors which allows a more detailed specification. [de]
